AXIS is powered by our parent company, ORIGIN Engineering, an engineering firm that focuses on providing contract engineering and fabrication services to over 10 industry verticals.

The AXIS group solely focuses on product development and manufacturing to help our partners densify their network.

Through vertical integration and a wide range of in-house manufacturing and internal engineering resources, we are able to provide high-quality and cost-competitive products. Our team of engineers are adept in codes such as AASHTO, TIA, AWS, AISC, and GR-487. All products are designed, built, and assembled at one of our two facilities located in the US.

PRODUCT ENGINEERING

AXIS engineers work closely with customers to develop a clear understanding of project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. We present multiple solution options and collaborate through each iteration to refine the final design to align precisely with the client’s vision. Every solution is engineered with manufacturability in mind, ensuring cost efficiency, long-term reliability, and ease of future access and maintenance.timelines, and project deliverables. product is refind further to meet the exact vision for the client. Our solutions are always designed
for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness and future accessibility/maintenance.

CAD DESIGN

AXIS engineers utilize a suite of CAD software, including SolidWorks, to design products and create drawings for the fab team. Models are invaluable when communicating aesthetics and functionality to the customer prior to fabrication.

THERMAL DESIGN

AXIS engineers utilize thermal analysis software to ensure the designed enclosures meet the requirements set by equipment manufacturers. Thermal solutions provided maximize passive cooling, reduce the amount of cooling equipment and maintain an elegant aesthetic. All thermal designs meet the requirements of Telecordia GR-487.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

AXIS engineers leverage their knowledge of structural codes to maximize member capacity for strength to weight ratio. Member connections are designed to meet customer needs and reduce the required capacity. Reinforcements are added to meet structural requirements without compromising on aesthetics.
