What We Offer

solve your challenges

Origin Fabrication will build to specification or solve your challenges and meet your specific needs

ORIGIN offers flexible manufacturing support tailored to each customer’s needs, combining fast lead times with consistent, high-quality production. Our fabrication team works at a rapid pace with the direct backing of in-house engineers, allowing us to customize every product we build efficiently.

Decades of hands-on experience in both structural and non-structural fabrication set ORIGIN apart. Our manufacturing approach emphasizes smart fixturing and repeatable processes to optimize cost, ensure component quality, and maintain tight tolerances. From large structural lifting beams to small, custom mechanical equipment, we deliver reliable solutions across a wide range of project scales.

WELDING APPLICATIONS

MIG – Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
TIG – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
Stick – Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
Flux-cored – Flux-cored Arc Welding (FCAW)

TECHNICAL PRECISION

Our precision metal fabricators cut, bend, form and assembles precise metal parts. Piecing together a puzzle, the fabrication team produces specialized components at very high tolerances

Fabrication

Plate Processing

Origin’s plate processing capabilities include high-precision fiber laser, abrasive waterjet, and plasma cutting to support a wide range of materials and thicknesses. Two Preco HS-3015A 4kW fiber lasers provide high-speed cutting within a 3000 × 1500 mm work envelope with ±0.001″ positional accuracy, ideal for tight-tolerance production work. Two OMAX 1530 5-axis abrasive waterjets deliver ±0.003″ accuracy and cut plate up to 6″ thick, supporting metals, composites, plastics, rubber, and other heat-sensitive materials. For heavy structural components, a Messer Slagger plasma table with a 10′ × 20′ bed cuts carbon steel up to 4″ thick, allowing Origin to efficiently match each application with the optimal cutting process for quality, cost, and lead time.
Fabrication

Powder Coating/Painting

Origin provides in-house powder coating and finishing to streamline production, reduce lead times, and keep costs competitive for our customers. By integrating coating directly with our fabrication and machining operations, parts move efficiently from manufacturing to finishing without the delays.

For larger projects or specialty coatings beyond our in-house capacity, we utilize a trusted network of finishing partners to ensure projects remain on schedule while maintaining the same quality standards our customers expect.

Fabrication

machining

Origin’s machining department provides precision CNC turning and milling to support both custom and production components. Our two Haas CNC lathes handle up to ~21″ swing and deliver repeatable turning with typical tolerances of ±0.002″ to ±0.005″. Our four Haas CNC mills offer generous travel and table capacity, enabling complex features with typical milling tolerances of ±0.002″ to ±0.005″ depending on part geometry and finish requirements. These capabilities allow Origin to produce accurate, high-quality machined parts that integrate seamlessly into fabricated assemblies and structural systems.

Fabrication

forming

Origin’s forming department is equipped with a range of CNC press brakes and structural rolling equipment to support light- to heavy-gauge forming requirements. Our press brake capacity ranges from 33-ton to 179-ton, with forming lengths up to 144 inches, allowing us to handle everything from small precision bends to large structural components. Typical forming tolerances are ±0.020″ on linear dimensions and ±0.5° on bend angles, depending on material and geometry. Complementing our press brakes, Origin operates structural roll forming equipment capable of rolling up to 60-inch widths in mild steel, supporting consistent radii and repeatable profiles for curved and formed components. This combination of tonnage, length, and precision enables Origin to deliver accurate, repeatable formed parts integrated seamlessly into fabricated assemblies.

Fabrication

Welding

Origin’s welding department is equipped with a robust fleet of high-capacity MIG and TIG systems, supported by automated robotic welding technology to handle both precision components and large structural assemblies. Our welding platforms include high-amperage Lincoln and Miller power sources, Miller Syncrowave TIG systems up to 400 amps, and a Vectis Automation robotic welding cell for repeatable, production-scale fabrication.

We support carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum applications with procedures aligned to AWS standards. With significant in-house welding capacity and a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) on staff, Origin ensures consistent quality, code compliance, and reliable throughput across structural and non-structural projects alike.
